Subscriptions

Your DoesItHaveIt? subscription controls which features you can access. Plans run monthly or annually, with a 14-day free trial on all paid plans.

Monthly vs. annual pricing

PlanMonthlyAnnual (billed upfront)Annual monthly equivalentSavings
Free$0$0$0
Upgrade$16/mo$144/year$12/mo~$48/year
Premium$42/mo$372/year$31/mo~$132/year
Premium Plus$109/mo$1,020/year$85/mo~$288/year

Annual plans are billed as a single charge at the start of the billing year. You pay the full annual amount upfront and get access for 12 months.

14-day free trial

All paid plans come with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers:

  • You must enter a payment method when starting the trial, but you are not charged until the trial ends
  • Full feature access begins immediately
  • Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged
  • After 14 days, billing begins automatically on your selected plan and cycle

The free trial is available once per account. If you've had a paid plan before, upgrading to a higher tier does not restart a trial — you are billed immediately at the prorated rate.

How to upgrade

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Change plan
  2. Select the new plan
  3. Choose monthly or annual billing
  4. Confirm — changes take effect immediately

Upgrading mid-cycle: When you upgrade from a lower plan to a higher one, you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan's rate. Your next renewal date stays the same.

Example: You're on Upgrade ($16/mo) with 15 days left in your billing cycle and upgrade to Premium ($42/mo). You're charged approximately $13 prorated for those 15 days at Premium rates, minus the unused portion of your Upgrade subscription.

How to downgrade

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Change plan
  2. Select the lower plan
  3. Confirm

Downgrading mid-cycle: A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period, not immediately. You keep your current plan's features until the renewal date, then switch to the lower plan. You are not refunded the difference for the current period.

Feature access after downgrade: Features exclusive to the higher plan become unavailable at the transition date. Saved addresses and analytics data are retained for 90 days if you downgrade from Premium to a non-Premium plan, then removed.

What happens when you cancel

See Cancelling or Pausing for full details. In short:

  • Access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • You are not charged again after cancellation
  • Your data (saved addresses, analytics) is kept for 90 days post-cancellation, then deleted
  • Purchased credit pack balances are retained in your account and available if you reactivate

Reactivating a cancelled subscription

If your subscription has been cancelled but your account still exists:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Reactivate plan
  3. Choose your plan (can be the same or different from what you had before)
  4. Enter a payment method if your previous one is no longer on file
  5. Access restores immediately

If you reactivate within 90 days of cancellation, your saved addresses and analytics data may still be available (depending on whether the 90-day retention window has passed).

Annual plan cancellation

Annual plans do not receive prorated refunds for unused months. If you cancel an annual plan mid-year:

  • You retain access for the full paid annual period
  • No additional charges occur
  • At the end of the annual period, your plan transitions to Free rather than auto-renewing

Switching from monthly to annual

You can switch from monthly to annual billing at any time in Dashboard → Billing → Change billing cycle. The switch takes effect at your next renewal date — you are not charged immediately. At renewal, you'll be billed the annual rate as a single payment.
