Promotion Credits
Promotion credits require a Premium or Premium Plus plan. The promotion listing feature is not available on Free or Upgrade plans.
Promotion credits are consumed when users interact with your featured business listing on DoesItHaveIt? results pages. Your plan includes a monthly allotment; additional packs can be purchased with volume discounts.
What costs promotion credits?

Impressions are counted when your listing is rendered on a results page for an address within your configured promotion radius. If the same user views the same address multiple times within a session window, only one impression is counted.

Volume tiers for additional credit packs
Purchase additional promotion credits at any time in Dashboard → Billing → Promotion Credits. Larger packs cost less per credit:

At 1 credit per impression and 2 credits per click, your 1,000 monthly Premium credits support roughly 500–1,000 impressions depending on your click-through rate. At 5,000 credits, Premium Plus supports 2,500–5,000 impressions per month from included credits.
Rollover policy
Promotion credits never expire. Unused monthly allotment credits carry forward indefinitely as long as your subscription is active. There is no use-it-or-lose-it window — credits accumulate until you spend them.
Credits from purchased packs also never expire. They are added to your balance and remain there until consumed.
Credits are consumed oldest-first (FIFO).
Daily credit cap
To prevent unexpected credit burn from a sudden spike in listing traffic, you can set a daily credit cap on each promotion listing in Dashboard → Promotion → [Listing] → Spending controls. When the cap is reached for the day, your listing pauses for the remainder of that day and reactivates at midnight Mountain Time.
Setting a daily cap is strongly recommended if you're on a limited promotion credit budget.
What happens when you run out of credits
When your promotion credit balance reaches zero, your listing(s) pause automatically. The listing is not deleted — it simply stops appearing to users until you add more credits. To reactivate:
- Purchase additional credits in Dashboard → Billing → Promotion Credits
- Your listing reactivates automatically within a few minutes
You receive a credit balance warning email when your balance drops below 10% of your monthly allotment. You can configure this threshold in Settings → Notifications.
Promotion credits vs. widget credits: key differences
Promotion credits and widget credits are completely separate systems. They cannot be combined, transferred, or substituted for each other. Buying promotion credits does not affect your widget credit balance, and vice versa. They have separate purchase flows, separate balances, and separate rollover pools.

Bundle discount
Purchasing additional promotion credit packs and widget credit packs in the same transaction qualifies for a bundle discount. This only applies to Premium Plus subscribers (the only plan with both credit systems active).

Example: A Premium Plus subscriber buys 25,000 promotion credits ($37.50) and 25,000 widget credits ($30.00) in one transaction. Combined total: 50,000 credits → Pro bundle tier → 15% discount → total cost $57.38 instead of $67.50, saving $10.12.
To qualify, add both credit types to your cart in a single purchase. The discount is applied automatically at checkout when the combined total meets a tier threshold.
